Michael wrote the following op-ed to the News Sentinel.

In his recent op-ed Michael Hicks, took issue with our local economic development officials (“LEDOs”), arguing that they are not “measured on how well the economy performs but rather on how many deals they close.” He further admonished LEDOs for treating people like commodities. Surprisingly, the Ball State professor’s piece misses the mark on both points.
