The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette reported earlier this week that Michael received an endorsement from the Allen County Right to Life PAC (“ACRL-PAC”). As a challenger, it can be very difficult to receive endorsements because organizations often give them to the incumbents without affording the challenger with an opportunity to earn their support.

Michael issued the following statement today regarding his endorsement.

“I am deeply honored to have received an endorsement from the Allen County Right to Life PAC. I have long been an advocate for protecting the sanctity of human life well before ever running for public office. The recognition that I have received now is an affirmation of my commitment to stand strong in protecting life as an elected official.”

The ACRL-PAC also issued the following statement. “Allen County Right to Life PAC supports Michael Barranda for Indiana House District 84 because he is a man of integrity and is committed to support life issues,” said Cathie Humbarger, Communications Director for the ACRL-PAC. “We believe that if he is elected, Michael will advance legislation that is protective of all innocent human life.”

Allen County Right to Life PAC is the political action arm of Allen County Right to Life. Its mission is to protect and promote innocent human life, from fertilization to natural death
